We made it y’all—it’s Why The Worry release day🕊️ So many feelings and thoughts come flooding through, but gratitude is at the top of the list. It’s been a long journey dating way, way back when my parents first propped a baby cello in front of me, showing me the ropes in this wild world of music. Hard to believe it’s taken root as it has so many decades later. Why The Worry is not only the title track I wrote with Oliver Wood, but an entire mindset that served as a mantra we all had to keep coming back to in this ebb and flow of a creative process. Through the unknown of it all— the digging, writing, inspiration, doubt, belief, hurricane, devastation, worry, rebuild, and love, we finally arrive to today— letting it fly.

I’m very proud of this album, and what my musical family helped me envision and create. All of the musicians, producers, writers, management, family, friends, artists, and most importantly all of you for supporting and believing in my wild ideas through all of these years. I Hope you enjoy Why The Worry and thank you for allowing me the gift to make this music- Seth

I recorded this at my aunt Jan’s “Knothole” cabin outside Custer, SD. I am playing her old classical guitar, which she wrote most of her music. I am honored to say she passed on this instrument to me and I plan to write and play many, many more songs on her. ❤️ Viva La Jan!
