I'm excited and overjoyed to announce that two of my great aunt Jan's albums are available now wherever you listen!

"It's A Long, Long Crawlway" is a collection of caving and climbing songs. Climb up or climb in.

"Farewell to the Village" is a sprawling collection of her wild imagination in songwriting and composition. The first four songs on this album are from the point of view of her guitar— "Chispa" and the journey it took from Greenwich Village to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Boundless creativity.

These albums were just as Jan recorded and later released them on CD many moons ago.

A huge thank you to my Dad @sgotwalk ,@catchingpinecones, @chadheddleston, @pmbphoto, @mikepoole and my label @royalpotatofamily for bringing them to life.

Search Jan Conn on your streaming platform and I will tag links in stories to listen! ⚡️🪇

PS two more of her albums are set to release in the coming weeks. Viva La Jan!

Thinking of Dolly in the Black Hills. A huge loss. She led with the love and stood for the good. What a life and a gift to us all! This tune has always done a number on me—The Grass Is Blue. Thank you Dolly. Rest in peace. ❤️

In one week I am headed back up to Custer, South Dakota to my late great aunt Jan's land. I will be off grid for 3 weeks posted up in the Knothole (the cabin she and her Herbie built.) I will be recording strip-down acoustic versions of her songs and songs inspired by her. I will be recording a collection of acoustic versions of some mine as well—"The Knothole Sessions".
Leave a comment below if there is a song of mine you would like to hear unplugged (literally- there is no power🕯️)

This is a very special project for me and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you soon❤️
